Betting for 3/10

By: PJ Guippone

Alright guys I’m getting good at this. I’m 4/6 in my substitution role, so if Mark finds a woman in the Dominican and stays there for the rest of his life because love or whatever, you will still be in good hands. Xavier not only covered, but won, so if you were feeling that one and took money line, you really made some bread. So let’s get after day 3.

In an hour, Michigan State takes on Minnesota. MSU started the year really poorly, but they have hit stride and are beginning to be extremely competent on both ends of the floor. Led by stud freshman Miles Bridges and March savant Tom Izzo, it’s scary that this team is getting hot right now. They are up against a Minnesota team that has been getting a lot of buzz throughout the season. Currently, MSU is getting 1.5, which is down from the +2 opening. I would say just take MSU money line on this one. MSU to win.

Rhode Island is one of the most disappointing teams in the country. They were supposed to be the cream of the crop in the A-10, which was an absolute dumpster fire this year, so that’s not really saying much. But still, they had a lot of hype led by stud guard EC Matthews coming off of an ACL tear (wow lots of initials there). Today, they take on St. Bonaventure in the quarterfinal of the A-10, and they are favored by six points. This is a team playing for their tournament lives. Realistically, they probably need to win the conference tournament to make the NCAA, but one game at a time. I think they will take care of business today and win by a good margin. URI -6.

I didn’t tell you to bet on Notre Dame last night. That was a big slip-up on my part. Notre Dame is one of my favorite teams in the country, and if you do not know much about them, watch them tonight against Florida State. This is another upset pick on my end. They are currently getting two points and I am again going to tell you to take the money line. Notre Dame will win this game and I firmly believe they can win the entire ACC. Take Notre Dame +110.
